This pendant has been inspired by a Byzantine filigree cross with pearls and elaborated patterns, an exponent from the late Byzantine art (1200-1400 CE).
The original ornament is preserved in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) in New York.
The pendant is handmade in Colombia out of .950 silver by an artisan specialized in the art of ancient filigree. Each piece is unique.
